What 🗤 means
It is a typographic ornament. Webdings, the computer symbol font it comes from, was developed in 1997. This ray belongs to a four-direction set designed as generic decoration rather than punctuation; the down, left, and right forms are its directional companions.
Why does it look different on my device?
Font support controls its appearance. Fonts may draw the same character with different proportions or spacing; a font without the glyph may show a replacement box or leave a blank.
For reusable text, enter the Unicode character in an editor with hexadecimal input. For legacy Webdings text, use a font-to-Unicode mapping: changing fonts alone does not convert the underlying character values into portable text.
A typographic ornament with an emphatic visual shape; its tone follows the surrounding text.
Alone, it can look unexplained; a font gap may make it look like a broken character.
