What ⎌ means
It began as a keyboard undo function before Unicode.
Its use dates to the 1990s or earlier. It entered ISO/IEC 10646, the ISO character standard aligned with Unicode, in 1998, then Unicode 3.0 in 1999.
ISO 7000 assigned it to equipment controls in 2004; ISO/IEC 9995-7 has listed it among keyboard-function signs since 2009.
Technical and matter-of-fact; it sounds like an interface command.
Alone, it doesn't say what to undo.
