What ↫ means
In LaTeX, use \looparrowleft in math mode if your package defines it.
The LaTeX command is \looparrowleft. MathML, a markup language for mathematics, places ↫ in an operator element; larrlp is its MathML alias. HTML accepts the named entities ↫ and ↫, as well as the numeric references ↫ and ↫.
What does ↫ mean?
It points left and loops back, but notation gives it meaning.
Originating as an ISOAMSA mathematical relation symbol, MathML classifies ↫ as an infix operator sitting between expressions. The surrounding formula or notation guide defines the exact relation; the glyph alone does not specify an undo action.
Technical notation; the surrounding formula or a nearby definition supplies the intended relation.
The loop is a shape cue, not a built-in undo command.
