What 𠔜 means
It is an old form of 坤, the character for earth. The Song-era Jiyun (集韻), a Chinese dictionary arranged by pronunciation and rhyme, records mapped ideograph 𠔜 this way. It was compiled in 1037–1039; in the Yijing (Book of Changes), 坤 names the Earth trigram.
Why does 𠔜 have a separate code?
It preserves one slot from Taiwan's character set. CNS 11643-1992 assigned it plane-6 code T6-3D3C. Unicode keeps that mapping so text can be converted to and back from the older encoding.
Keep it for CNS text; write 坤 for the ordinary word.
NFC and NFD map 𠔜 to 𠔜, losing its separate code point.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𠔜 show as a box on some devices?
Not every system ships a font for the CJK Compatibility Ideographs Supplement block. Where none is installed, the character shows as an empty box; adding a font such as Noto fixes it. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.

𠔜\2F812Why is 𠔜 a box on my screen?
fsymbols draws rare signs with its own fonts, so they show here even where your device has none. An app or website without such a font shows an empty box (□) or a question mark instead. Turn our fonts off to see each sign as your device draws it by itself: a box here means a box in your chats and documents too.
