What 剆 means
It preserves a source-standard code position.
Unicode lists its source as T6-2E76, plane 6 of Taiwan’s CNS 11643-1992, a national character-encoding standard, and maps it to 剆. The year 1992 dates the standard, not the character’s origin. Unicode added this compatibility form in version 3.1 (2001) for round-trip conversion with it. The early Chinese character dictionary Shuowen Jiezi does not list 剆.
