What 𦇚 means
Its mapped counterpart is 𦇚, an old form of 彞.
Chinese historical dictionaries identify 𦇚 as an old variant of 彞. The Shuowen Jiezi, an early Chinese character dictionary compiled around 100 CE, describes 彞 as a vessel used in ancestral rites; the same character also means a rule or norm. A quotation from the Liu Xiong stele preserves the 𦇚 form in an inscription.
Why does 𦇚 become 𦇚?
Unicode normalization maps it to its canonical equivalent.
The Unicode chart lists this as Taiwan’s CNS 11643-1992 position T5-7340, preserving round-trip conversion between that standard and Unicode.
NFC, NFD, NFKC, and NFKD all fold 𦇚 into 𦇚; after normalization, the separate compatibility code point is gone.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𦇚 show as a box on some devices?
Not every system ships a font for the CJK Compatibility Ideographs Supplement block. Where none is installed, the character shows as an empty box; adding a font such as Noto fixes it. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.
