What 𥾆 means
It is a rare variant of 糾. Taiwan’s Ministry of Education lists 𥾆 and 𥾆 as forms of 糾 and cites Sìshēng Piānhǎi (《四聲篇海》), a Chinese character dictionary, for 𥾆. The Han-era Shuōwén Jiězì (《說文解字》), completed around 120 CE, describes 糾 as a rope made from three joined strands; the word’s other senses include entangling, gathering, supervising, and correcting.
Unicode maps 𥾆 to 𥾆 and gives it Taiwan source code T6-3366. Keeping the separate character lets text convert into Taiwan’s CNS 11643-1992 encoding and back without losing the source form. Normalization can replace 𥾆 with 𥾆; the standardized variation sequence 𥾆︀ can request its variant glyph.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𥾆 show as a box on some devices?
Not every system ships a font for the CJK Compatibility Ideographs Supplement block. Where none is installed, the character shows as an empty box; adding a font such as Noto fixes it. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.
