What 𦋙 means
Taiwan’s Ministry of Education lists 𦋙 and 𦋙 under 罨. The Shuowen Jiezi, a Chinese character dictionary completed around 100 CE, describes 罨 as a net; later texts use it for fishing and bird nets, netting prey, and covering.
Taiwan’s CNS 11643 (Chinese Standard Interchange Code) expanded in 1992 from two to seven sections for Chinese text processing; the last two mainly held variants. T7-3A49 is this form’s source entry, so conversion back can restore it.
Text normalization can erase the form
Unicode normalization (standard text cleanup) maps 𦋙 to 𦋙. Append Variation Selector-1 to 𦋙 to preserve the distinction; the sequence survives normalization, though unsupported fonts may not show the variant.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𦋙 show as a box on some devices?
Not every system ships a font for the CJK Compatibility Ideographs Supplement block. Where none is installed, the character shows as an empty box; adding a font such as Noto fixes it. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.

fsymbols draws rare signs with its own fonts, so they show here even where your device has none. An app or website without such a font shows an empty box (□) or a question mark instead. Turn our fonts off to see each sign as your device draws it by itself: a box here means a box in your chats and documents too.
