What 𡎟 means
In Chữ Nôm, it writes Vietnamese hang, meaning “cave.”
Chữ Nôm took shape after Vietnam regained independence in 939, as writers adapted Chinese character forms to write Vietnamese. By the 16th century, it had grown from notes beside classical Chinese texts into a full writing system for Vietnamese. Nôm word lists preserve 𡎟 in phrases such as 𡎟洞 (hang động, “cave”) and 𡎟漊萬丈 (hang sâu vạn trượng, “a cave thousands of fathoms deep”).

Questions people ask
1Why does 𡎟 show as a box on some devices?
Not every system ships a font for the CJK Unified Ideographs Extension B block. Where none is installed, the character shows as an empty box; adding a font such as Noto fixes it. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.
