What 𢷾 means
Old dictionaries preserve separate action readings. A later-added note in the Han-era character dictionary Shuowen Jiezi glosses one as brushing or sweeping aside and analyzes 𢷾 as 扌 (the hand component) plus 戚 (a sound element). Mandarin readings are suò or shè for brushing and cè for striking; Pinyin spells these sounds.
The Song-era Guangyun and Jiyun, dictionaries arranged by pronunciation, preserve the “strike” reading. Records link the brush sense to 摵 and the strike sense to 𥰡. Use surrounding words to choose which action is meant.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𢷾 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
