What 𢷿 means
It can represent 截 or 𢪍; source and context decide.
Taiwan’s Ministry of Education cites 𢷿 for 截 in Jiyun, a dictionary grouped by rhyme from the Song dynasty, and in the Kangxi Dictionary from the Qing dynasty. The Han dynasty’s Shuowen Jiezi, an early character dictionary, glosses 截 as “sever” and analyzes its graph as 戈 (a weapon) plus 雀 (“sparrow”) for sound.
The same ministry dictionary also links 𢷿 to 𢪍, whose senses include “pick off” (jí) and “carry” (jiā). Later Chinese sources use 截 for blocking or interception, a segment, “orderly,” and “distinct.” Unicode’s Unihan record lists Japanese readings shitsu and shichi beside Mandarin jié.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𢷿 show as a box on some devices?
Not every system ships a font for the CJK Unified Ideographs Extension B block. Where none is installed, the character shows as an empty box; adding a font such as Noto fixes it. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.
