What 𣸓 means
𣸓 is a variant of 濟. The Shuowen Jiezi, an early Chinese character dictionary, gives 濟 as a river name. Later senses include crossing and helping; in Mandarin the verbs are read jì, while 濟水 is read jǐ.
A classical citation preserves “𣸓揚舟於會稽兮,” a line from Nine Laments, a poem attributed to Liu Xiang of the Han dynasty and included in the Chu Ci anthology. It evokes a boat journey at Kuaiji; another transcription uses 濟.
