What 𥋚 means
It names the matter that collects at the corner of an eye.
Mandarin reads it miè. One early entry is in the Eastern Han character dictionary Shuowen Jiezi, compiled around 100 CE: it defines the character as eye discharge and analyzes its form as 目 (“eye”) plus a shortened 蔑 used for sound. The Song-dynasty Guangyun, a dictionary organized by rhyme and compiled in 1008, also gives “red eyes.” The Lüshi Chunqiu, a Chinese classic, uses the related form 䁾 for an eye condition linked to impaired sight.

1Why does 𥋚 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
