What 𨾧 means
It is a written variant of the bird-name 𪂆.
Taiwan's Ministry of Education gives the Mandarin reading mín. The early Chinese dictionary Shuowen Jiezi records 𪂆 as the bird-name; later pronunciation dictionaries list 𨾧 as another form.
The Shan Hai Jing, a classic Chinese book about places and unusual creatures, describes the bird as red-billed and kingfisher-like, with the power to ward off fire.

The selected font may not contain its glyph.
CJK Extension B is an extra set of Han characters, so the app needs a font that includes this glyph. The CNS11643 entry checked in 2026 says Windows 10 and later include it in default fonts and offers a font package.

1Why does 𨾧 show as a box on some devices?
Not every system ships a font for the CJK Unified Ideographs Extension B block. Where none is installed, the character shows as an empty box; adding a font such as Noto fixes it. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.
