What 𩺼 means
It is a variant of 鯆, not one species label.
The 543 Yupian (玉篇) calls 鯆 a “large fish”; the 1037 Jiyun (集韻) records 𩺼 as its variant, with a fish-name gloss including a poisonous tail.
Other Chinese dictionaries link 鯆 to a river porpoise (a small toothed whale) or a ray or skate, but disagree on the readings. The exact animal depends on the dictionary entry.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𩺼 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
