The 1666 Chinese character-dictionary supplement 《字彙補》 says 𪏡 is the same as 斢 in sound and meaning. The Song-era Chinese rhyme dictionary 《廣韻》 records 斢㪹, glossed as troops seizing people and property. Other dictionaries give 斢 the reading tǒu for “yellow” and the dialect verb tiǎo for “exchange.”
