What 𪏴 means
It describes stickiness.
Guangyun, a Chinese rhyme dictionary (a book that groups characters by pronunciation), compiled in 1007–1008, explains it as 黏皃, “sticky in appearance.” The later Kangxi Dictionary (1716) quotes the earlier Yupian character dictionary for 黏也, simply “sticky.” A 2024 version of Taiwan’s Ministry of Education 正字表, its list of standard characters, also includes it.
Why can fonts draw 𪏴 differently?
Unicode’s chart glyph is only a reference.
The Unicode Consortium’s archived Version 13.0 Extension B chart says its representative glyphs do not prescribe one fixed design; actual fonts can vary considerably.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𪏴 show as a box on some devices?
Not every system ships a font for the CJK Unified Ideographs Extension B block. Where none is installed, the character shows as an empty box; adding a font such as Noto fixes it. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.
