What 𫋺 means
It is a variant of 祧, a shrine for moved tablets.
Classical Chinese ritual texts use 祧 for a shrine where memorial tablets for distant ancestors were kept. The Zhouli, a book describing ritual offices, assigns officials to guard former rulers’ temples; the Liji, a guide to ritual rules, says distant temples were 祧 and could later become altars. Later dictionaries also record 祧 as the verb “move a tablet” and 承祧 for continuing ancestral rites.
Classical Chinese ritual and family-lineage register; use it for ancestral temples, memorial tablets, or continuing ancestral rites.

1Why does 𫋺 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
