What 𫋻 means
Chinese: a robe-collar join; Vietnamese Nôm: “pillow.”
In Chinese, 𫋻 is a simplified form of 襘, naming where a robe’s overlapping front edges meet. The Zuozhuan chronicle contrasts this collar join with a belt knot; the Shuowen dictionary calls it a belt fastening, while the commentator Du Yu explains the clothing reference as the collar’s meeting.
In historical Vietnamese Chữ Nôm, a script that adapted Chinese characters to write Vietnamese, 𫋻 writes gối (“pillow”). Classic verse narratives such as Truyện Kiều and Lục Vân Tiên use it in lines about pillows and bedding.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𫋻 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
