What 𫗫 means
It is a simplified form of 餬, read hú in Mandarin.
Erya, an early Chinese glossary, glosses 餬 as thick porridge; the Han dictionary Shuowen also records living on others' food. 餬口 came to mean “make a living.” In the Song dynasty, 餬名 meant pasting paper over exam candidates' names; the Qing novel The Scholars uses 餬 for covering up or fooling someone. 餬 combines 飠, the food component, with 胡, its sound part; 𫗫 simplifies 飠 to 饣.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𫗫 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
