What 𫹊 means
It represents the Vietnamese verb bay: to fly.
Chữ Nôm adapted Han characters and made new combinations to write Vietnamese. A 2019 Unicode CJK working paper identifies 拜 as the sound-bearing part of this form, so the whole character has Vietnamese bay, not 拜’s ordinary Chinese reading.
What does it mean in old poetry?
It can also describe something fading away.
The early 15th-century Quốc âm thi tập (“Poetry Collection in the National Language”), poem 5 of Tự thán (“Self-Lament”), uses it in tiếng hư bay (“empty reputation flies away”). Here, flight is figurative: a reputation can vanish.

1Why does 𫹊 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
