What 𬮟 means
Chinese references list 𬮟 as a simplified form of 焛.
The Shuowen Jiezi, a Chinese dictionary of individual characters completed in 100 CE, glosses 焛 as 火貌 (“the appearance of fire”) and analyzes it as 火 (“fire”) plus a shortened 門 used as a sound clue.
Japanese dictionaries also record a separate character written 焛, formed by combining 門 (“gate”) and 火 (“fire”): it is read かどび (kadobi), a fire lit at a gate. In Zhuang, 𬮟 is recorded as a Sawndip form for feiz (“fire”); Sawndip is a traditional script derived from Chinese characters and used to write Zhuang.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𬮟 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
