What 𬳴 means

It is a rare form of 駍, a sound-word for loud rumbling.

In Yang Xiong’s poem 甘泉賦 (“Rhapsody on Sweet Springs”), 駍 evokes Emperor Cheng of Han’s chariot procession. The Dictionary of Ancient Chinese (古代汉语词典) lists 𬳴 as a form simplified by analogy from 駍. The older Jade Chapters dictionary, 《玉篇》, also gives 駍 a horse-name sense.

A classical Chinese sound-word preserved in dictionaries.
