What 𭻧 means
It names a traditional Chinese measure for grain.
Du Yu’s third-century gloss on the Zuo Zhuan, an ancient Chinese chronicle, gives one 釜 as six 斗 and four 升, two older Chinese volume units. Late in the Spring and Autumn period, the Tian family made its household measure larger: it lent grain by that measure and collected by the public one, helping it win support.
A bronze 釜 inscribed in the early Warring States period set a public capacity standard and warned against cheating. These values belong to their historical systems; they are not modern conversions.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𭻧 show as a box on some devices?
Not every system ships a font for the CJK Unified Ideographs Extension F block. Where none is installed, the character shows as an empty box; adding a font such as Noto fixes it. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.
