What 𮪶 means
The source record preserves its form, not a reliable gloss. The University of Tokyo’s SAT list ties it to the Taishō Shinshū Daizōkyō (1924–1934), an edition of the Chinese Buddhist canon. SAT proposed this previously unencoded Han form so the text could be transcribed digitally.
Why does 𮪶 show as a box?
The browser may not support its glyph. The SAT character list (checked 2026-10-05) uses a web font and warns unsupported browsers may not display its entries. A box is a display failure, not a different character.
