A Chinese dictionary marks it as a possible nonstandard form of 㽕.
The Shuowen Jiezi, an early Chinese character dictionary compiled around 100 CE, glosses 㽕 as a tree’s new growth. Its Shangshu (Book of Documents) example describes a fallen tree sprouting again; the version passed down writes that word as 由. This history belongs to 㽕, not the exact shape 𰢻.
