What 𰲠 means
The old gloss describes a tiger with a pale coat.
The Erya, an old Chinese glossary, gives 虥猫 for this animal. The Shuowen Jiezi, a character dictionary compiled around 100 CE, records 虦苗 and explains 苗 as an old form of 猫.
A 2015 Unicode proposal cites Hanyu Da Zidian, a large Chinese character dictionary, volume 5, page 3013, for this glyph. Unicode encoded it in 2020; that dates the code point, not the older word.
