What 㽮 means
It is an older written variant of the standard character 星.
The Chinese character dictionary Longkan Shoujian, compiled in 997, equates 㽮 with 星. Earlier forms of 星 appear on oracle bones—animal bones and turtle shells used for divination—and on a bronze inscription from the Western Zhou dynasty; these examples do not date this exact 㽮 form.
Historical variant; 星 is the ordinary modern Chinese form.
A blank or box may mean the font or app lacks this glyph.

Questions people ask
1Why does 㽮 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
