What 䍦 means
It names an old cloth head covering.
The early Chinese character dictionary Yupian (玉篇) glosses 䍦 through 羃䍦. Shuowen Jiezi (說文) omits it; later Chinese sound dictionaries, Guangyun (廣韻) and Jiyun (集韻), also record it.
Chinese histories place 羃䍦 among Hu and Qiang communities of the northwest, where it screened wind-blown sand; women in central China used it to shield their faces. During the Tang period, the related veiled hat 帷帽 hung to the neck and exposed more of the face.
Archaic Chinese vocabulary; expect it in historical texts or dictionaries.
Read the compound: the isolated headwear gloss cannot tell you which garment is meant.

3Questions people ask
1Why does 䍦 show as a box on some devices?
Not every system ships a font for the CJK Unified Ideographs Extension A block. Where none is installed, the character shows as an empty box; adding a font such as Noto fixes it. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.
