What 侤 means
It is a Korean Hanja character with two documented historical uses.
An early use appears in the Nogeoldae, an instructional dialogue text. The tradition is usually placed in China's Yuan dynasty, and an initial printing is dated to around 1346. A 2014 study reports that 侤 means “interrogate” there and that later editions replace it with 拷.
In court records from Korea's Joseon dynasty, 侤音 names a written pledge to accept a ruling or complete an ordered act. An 1826 court record documents one after a confession. A 2017 legal-history study says these documents remained in use after court reforms in 1895.
Is 侤 a Korean character?
Yes; its documented specialized uses come from Korean texts.
A Chinese dictionary gives 侤 a gloss meaning confession or testimony (供詞). That gloss does not make it a general Chinese word: in the Nogeoldae it refers to interrogation, while 侤音 is a Korean legal pledge term.
Use 侤 as an interrogation term only in the historical textual context; it is not a general Chinese substitute for 拷.
Specialized and historical: it appears in Korean instructional and legal records, not casual chat.
Do not use 侤 as a general Chinese substitute for 拷.

2Questions people ask
2Why does 侤 show as a box?
That is a font-coverage problem. The active font or its fallback may not include a drawing for this character, so the screen shows a missing-glyph box.
Can 侤 mean torture?
It can in the Nogeoldae: 侤 is used for interrogation there, and 打侤 can describe interrogating or torturing someone. Later editions use 拷 instead; the meaning does not carry automatically into other texts.
