What 詨 means
It means a call or shout. A bronze inscription from the mid-Western Zhou period preserves its earliest recorded form; later forms appear in texts from the ancient state of Chu on bamboo or silk and in small-seal, clerical, and regular scripts.
言 marks speech; 交 hints at sound. The Classic of Mountains and Seas, an old book of legendary creatures, uses 其鳴自詨 for an animal's cry; dictionaries gloss 詨 there with 訆. Wu is a group of Chinese varieties.
