What 誙 means
It describes a compelled rush, chiefly in 誙誙.
The early character dictionary Shuowen omits 誙. In the Zhuangzi chapter 至樂, 誙誙然 depicts a crowd chasing pleasure as if unable to stop; Tang-era commentator Cheng Xuanying reads it as a rush toward death.
Does bare 誙 mean “sure”?
Not reliably.
Some dictionaries give that gloss, but 誙 alone is not a dependable agreement. If someone sends it alone, ask what they mean.
Literary and archaic; it reads like a classical quotation.
