What 誸 means
It means urgent or pressing; dictionaries also give “firm and upright.”
In the classical Chinese text Zhuangzi, “謀稽乎誸” links plans to urgent circumstances. The Taiwan Ministry of Education’s 2024 dictionary entry notes 誸 is absent from Shuowen Jiezi, an early Chinese character dictionary.
Uncommon and bookish; its recorded example is classical.
