What 듞 means
It is a Hangul syllable, not a word with a fixed meaning.
A Hangul block combines jamo, or letter components, into one written syllable. In 듞, ㄷ leads, ㅡ is the vowel, and ㄲ closes the block. “Deugg” is a romanized character label, not an English definition.
Where did Hangul come from?
Hangul’s creation and publication are dated to 1443–1446.
Created under King Sejong, Hangul aimed to make Korean easier to write and learn. Since Korean differs from Chinese, people had relied on Idu, Gugyeol, and Hyangchal—methods that used Chinese characters to record Korean. Those are earlier Korean writing methods, not alternate forms of this syllable.
Hangul’s public status changed in 1894–1945: it became official in 1894, lost that status in 1910, and saw renewed language policy and typeface work after Korea’s liberation in 1945. These are changes in the script’s public role, not in what 듞 means.
How do you type 듞?
A Korean IME combines three jamo in order.
Enter ᄃ (ㄷ), ᅳ (ㅡ), then ᆩ (ㄲ). A Korean input method joins the leading consonant, vowel, and final consonant into one syllable block.
If the parts stay separate, the text may be decomposed or the app may not shape the jamo together. Fonts also vary in component placement, shape, and size; a layout difference alone does not make it another character.
Within Korean spelling, it is neutral. Sent alone, it reads as an unexplained syllable rather than a clear message tone.

1Why does 듞 split into jamo?
It can. NFD stores Hangul jamo separately, so the parts may appear apart if an app does not shape them together. NFC composes a qualifying modern jamo sequence into one precomposed syllable.
