What 훇 means
Unicode builds the name from labels for its three Hangul letters.
훇 combines ᄒ, ᅮ, and ᆪ: an initial letter, a vowel, and a final consonant cluster. Unicode labels those jamo (Hangul letters) H, U, and GS; “Hugs” is not a Korean word for affection. Hangul was created in 1443. The Hunminjeongeum, a 1446 manuscript explaining Hangul, describes how syllable blocks write Korean.

Questions people ask
1Why can 훇 appear as separate pieces?
It can be encoded as conjoining jamo instead of one precomposed block. A Hangul-capable font can join those letters into the same syllable; compatibility jamo do not join that way.
