What 𖺁 means
They are two shapes for the same value. A 2015 proposal to add Medefaidrin to Unicode, the digital character standard, says the alternate was used above 19; a 1961 account shows the ordinary form there too. Follow the convention in the text you’re reading.

1Why does 𖺁 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
