What 𖺂 means
It represents the value two. The Medefaidrin number system is base 20: its single-sign values run from zero through nineteen. A second written form, 𖺕, is encoded as a separate character.
Obɛri Ɔkaimɛ, a Christian congregation among Ibibio speakers in southern Nigeria, developed Medefaidrin as a sacred language and script. Church tradition places the Spirit’s descent in 1927; a community interview cited in the Unicode proposal dates the language’s imparting to 1932. A 1947 study describes the language and script. Medefaidrin marked church identity and served worship, lessons, and formal communication.
