What 𖺌 means
𖺌 marks twelve as one value in Medefaidrin’s numeral set. The Medefaidrin base-20 numeral system counts in groups of twenty and gives each value from zero through nineteen its own sign; decimal “12” writes that value with two digits.
The language and script developed around 1927 among Ibibio speakers in the Obɛri Ɔkaimɛ church community. Medefaidrin served as the community’s sacred language; its script was used for worship, schooling, mathematics, letters and formal communication.
A 1947 study documents a Medefaidrin numeral chart. As use declined, notebooks and charts became material for preserving the writing system.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𖺌 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
