What 𖹱 means
Use Keyman’s phonetic Medefaidrin layout; hold marked phone keys for hidden letters.
𖹱 is a lowercase letter in Medefaidrin, the sacred language of the Obɛri Ɔkaimɛ Christian community in southeastern Nigeria. Community tradition dates the language’s revelation to 1927; the language and its alphabet took shape through the late 1920s and 1930s. The script was made to write that language.
Church members used the script for worship, school lessons, hymns, letters, and contracts. A church school opened in 1936 before colonial authorities closed it; Sunday-school lessons resumed in 1986. Unicode 18.0 describes continuing use for lessons, prayer, and scripture reflection. Medefaidrin borrows English-style capitals and lowercase letters, but 𖹱 is not the Latin letter c.
Read it as a letter in Medefaidrin text, not as an emoji reaction.
