What 𑐳 means
It writes /s/ inside Newa syllables. Newa is an abugida, a writing system where consonants include a vowel by default: 𑐳 alone is /sə/, a vowel sign swaps that vowel, and a silencer mark called virama removes it to build joined consonant clusters.
The earliest recorded specimen is a 908 CE Laṅkāvatāra Sūtra manuscript, a Buddhist scripture. The script then served Sanskrit and Newar in manuscripts, inscriptions, records and coins, with Pracalit as the main literary style beside Bhujimol and Rañjanā. Use declined after Gorkha rule in 1769, a 1905 ban ended in 1951, and revival has recast Newa as living heritage.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𑐳 show a mark in a cluster?
Probably. Your font lacks that joined form. It then shows the virama mark instead of fusing the consonants; switch to a font with Newa shaping support.
