What 𐹢 means
It represents the value three.
Rumi/Fasi numerals drew on Coptic or Greek-Coptic practice, with possible influence from Egyptian ḥurūf al-zimām, an account-register notation. They were used from the 10th through 17th centuries in Egypt, northwest Africa, and Iberia.
The earliest reported examples are 12th- and 13th-century Mozarabic Christian manuscripts from Toledo. Early Toledan forms ran left to right; later Moroccan legal and commercial forms generally ran right to left. Rumi signs marked manuscript pages and chapters, accounts, scientific and mathematical works, and astronomical instruments. The 2006 Unicode proposal selected a representative outline because manuscript forms varied.
