What ꢠ means
ꢠ is a consonant letter used to write the Saurashtra language.
A 2005 Unicode proposal described the script’s origin as unknown.
Modern Saurashtra took shape in the 1880s as T. M. Rama Ray reformed it and had metal type cast. By the late 19th century, books appeared in Saurashtra, Tamil, Telugu, and Devanagari scripts; grammar and alphabet books followed in 1905–1906.
Why does ꢠ show as a box?
The font or app may lack the glyph needed to display it.
If a square appears, your font or app lacks the needed Saurashtra glyph. A compatible font displays it without changing the character.

Questions people ask
1Why does ꢠ show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
