What 𑇖 means
It represents the number six. In a longer decimal number, its position shows whether it contributes six units, six tens, or six hundreds.
Sharada grew from Gupta Brahmi, an older Brahmi script form, through Kutila, a later style. It appears in inscriptions from the 8th century and in manuscripts by the 12th, including scientific and mathematical works. By the 19th century, rising use of the Persian script for Kashmiri and the growth of Devanagari had pushed Sharada to the margins. Devāśeṣa and Takri later developed from Sharada.
