What means
One in the Sunuwar number system.
The modern Sunuwar script was developed in 1942 for writing Sunuwar. A community history describes inscriptions in Koĩts-BreɁse, the Sunuwar language, on animal skin and reports that number forms were presented at a 1943 conference. Sunuwar writing has appeared in primers, histories, newspapers, government records, and academic work. Sunuwar spelling differs by region: descriptions as of 2026-04-28 report an alphabetic approach in Nepal, where letters represent sounds, and an abugidic approach in Sikkim, where consonant letters carry an implied vowel.
It has a neutral, numeric role in Sunuwar writing.
If a font lacks Sunuwar support, a missing-glyph box may appear; the text still holds this numeral.
