What 𘡌 means
It is an index component, not a word with its own translation. Component lists help researchers sort and analyze Tangut characters. The number 077 is an index label, not a reading. Tangut components can point to meaning or sound, or serve mainly as structural pieces; scholars use different component systems.
The Tangut script was created under the first emperor of the Western Xia kingdom about 1036. It appeared in official, private, and religious works, including Buddhist texts translated into Tangut. The earliest transmitted document is dated 1072. After the kingdom fell, writing continued during the Yuan and Ming periods; an inscription from 1502 records later use. It eventually became obsolete by the end of the Ming dynasty.
Tangut is a distinct script, though it can look like Chinese writing. The Unicode account describes it as unrelated to Chinese ideographs; a study of Tangut character structure argues that Chinese writing influenced its formation, while leaving the exact influence unclear. That historical debate does not make 𘡌 a Chinese character or give it a Chinese reading.
This is a technical index sign used in Tangut dictionary and script research, not ordinary prose.
077 is an index number, not a translation or pronunciation.
