What 𘡺 means
It is a component, not a standalone word with one translation. In Tangut dictionaries, components help describe or index larger characters. “Tangut radical 123” is a modern catalog label, not an ancient reading.
Tangut writing was created in 1036 for the Western Xia state: for government, Buddhist scripture, and a distinct Tangut identity. Surviving Western Xia texts cover official, private, and religious life. Tangut writing drew on Chinese writing and neighboring Khitan scripts, but it is a separate writing system. The 12th-century Sea of Characters, a Tangut dictionary, explained characters through their components. A 1981 study describes components as shortened forms used in meaning-based or sound-based compounds.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𘡺 show as a box on some devices?
Not every system ships a font for the Tangut Components block. Where none is installed, the character shows as an empty box; adding a font such as Noto fixes it. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.
