What 𘦯 means
It marks one entry in a system for describing Tangut characters.
𘦯 is used to classify and find whole characters; it is not a word to translate. The number is only an inventory label. Tangut was the writing system of Western Xia, created around 1036 under its first emperor. It carried Buddhist texts, official and private writing, religious works, and Chinese texts translated into Tangut.
Where does 𘦯 appear in a historical list?
In Homonyms, a Tangut reference book printed from carved wood.
Its list places 𘦯 in a series for components at the top of whole characters and shows 𗀆 as a sample character. The preface describes components as parts used to build characters and as aids to writing and study.
Homonyms first became publicly known at a Beijing auction in 2014; its provenance was unknown in 2014, so that date does not tell when the book was made. In modern scholarship, component inventories also help classify and look up characters, but researchers do not share one canonical set.
Specialist and archival: it belongs in Tangut-script study, component indexing, or Unicode analysis.
Do not read 432 as a meaning or pronunciation; it is only an inventory label.
