What 𘪞 means
It is a structural lookup part, not a Tangut word. Tangut components help dictionaries locate characters; 𘪞 marks part of a character and has no translation on its own.
The Western Xia state created Tangut writing in 1036 to express its political identity and translate Buddhist scriptures. It drew on Chinese writing without deriving from it, and followed a neighboring Khitan precedent: creating a distinct state script.
Tangut texts include Buddhist and secular translations, including Chinese works. A manuscript from Khara-Khoto probably dates to the 12th or early 13th century.
