What 𘫁 means
It marks a part of complete Tangut characters.
Tangut indexes use different component divisions; ordinary writing uses complete characters.
In 1036, Li Yuanhao ordered Tangut writing to build Western Xia’s state and translate Buddhist scriptures; it also distinguished the kingdom from Song China. It drew on Chinese characters without deriving from them, following neighboring Khitan scripts. A Khara-khoto manuscript, probably from the 12th or early 13th century, belongs to the broader tradition of Buddhist, translated, Confucian, military, reference, and literary Tangut works.
Technical: used in Tangut component indexes.
Sent alone, it may look like a broken character.
