What 𗂸 means
It means “minister” or “official” in Tangut.
Created around 1036, Tangut writing served government correspondence and Buddhist scripture. Chinese writing inspired its forms, but Tangut was not directly derived from Chinese; the earlier Khitan state also had a separate script. Surviving manuscripts date from the mid-11th to early 13th centuries. Writing continued after Western Xia fell; a known inscription dates to 1502.
A historical Tangut character.
Tangut is a distinct script; Chinese influence does not make this a Chinese character.
